**QC Inspector**Permanent role
Dyce, Aberdeen
One of our Oilfield clients based in Dyce, is currently looking for an experienced QC Inspector to help & grow a new part of their business.
This individual would be the sole QC Inspector on site, and the client is looking for someone who has experience of working without supervision & has the ability to report back findings without any guidance.
Additionally, it would be very advantageous for you to have experience of measuring dimensions, using the likes of vernier calipers, and have good knowledge around ISO 9001.
The role will be a standard 40 hour week, Monday to Friday, and the client is flexible with start / finish times.
Main responsibilities:
Drive the goods in process to ensure components delivered meet stated requirements.Inspect products against engineering drawings to assess whether products meet required quality standardsFirst article inspections, including documented inspection reportsCreate NCRs and log through relevant systemWorking with internal departments to prioritise workload based on Client demandManagement of controlled quarantine area and non-conforming productsSupplier visits to witness manufacturing progress and inspections prior to releaseResponsible for ensuring all equipment is calibrated and recorded as required
